Enquiry privacy.
This page explains how the Guoot website handles an enquiry. For questions about your information, use the contact form.
What the form sends
The form emails Guoot the name, email address, optional business name, service selection and message you provide. These details are used to understand and respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, payment information or sensitive personal details through the form.
How the form works
The website uses a session cookie to protect the enquiry form against unauthorised submissions. Expiring, single-use tokens and completion-time checks help reduce automated spam. It also temporarily keeps a hashed network address and submission counts to limit spam. Those rate-limit records expire after an hour and are cleared on subsequent valid submissions. Enquiry text is not stored in that rate-limit file.

Hosting and email
The hosting and email services process information needed to operate the website and deliver your enquiry. The server may record technical request information, such as your network address and the page requested, in its access and error logs. Your submitted enquiry is delivered to Guoot’s email account.
Analytics and marketing
This website does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Questions or requests
You can use the contact form to ask about the information held in relation to your enquiry, request a correction, or request its deletion. Any information needed for an ongoing project or applicable record-keeping requirements may need to be retained.
